A new permanent kennel site is still in limbo. Options will be presented by Planning and Zoning soon. Then we would need a lease and a land use clearance, including access.

Meanwhile, we continue using help from temporary fosters: Cookie Powell, Elizabeth Warren, Paula Allen, and Georgiana and Steve Simpson.

Guymon property south of town may be an option, but access and distance are issues.

We have rescued five adult dogs and 19 puppies, providing 6 transports and delivering 280 pounds of dog food, while traveling 645 miles.

We have adopted 3 dogs and vaccinated 25.

Temporary short term fosters are always needed.

We can place an igloo and a 4X6X8 kennel in your yard if you would be willing to join our foster program for a short period of time. Email BARC at

Our revenue exceeds expenses this month due to many generous donations.

The Bluff Animal Rescue Committee (BARC) provides foster care, feeding, immunizations, spaying, and neutering of local cats and dogs. To donate, mail a check to the Bluff Animal Rescue Committee at PO Box 470, Bluff, UT 84512or donate online.
