Jana and Steve Simpson provided foster care for most of the month, while also adopting a beautiful white female.
One male, three females and nineteen puppies were rescued. 235 pounds of dry dog food were delivered to several reservation sites near Montezuma Creek, along with four cases of canned dog food to support a nursing mom with seven new puppies. We made seven trips to pick up or transport animals, covering 476 miles. 15 vaccinations were done.
BARC also installed 4 dog poop clean-up stations around the community with each one monitored for supplies by one of the board members.
BARC is still waiting for Planning and Zoning and Town Council to decide on kennel site options.
